Ansel Adams black and white

I chose this photo by Ansel Adams because of the contrast between black and white, and you can truly see the beauty behind his art work. You can tell where in the photo there is black and where there is white. The shade between the mountain of sand makes the rest of the photo really pop and catch your eye. When you o to take a black and white photo, you want there to be a good amount of both so it can get the full potential that the photo has. The first thing you notice when you see this photos the shade between the bumps of sand, and then you notice how the sun is on the right because the shade is behind the hill to the left.
